Become A Volunteer

Have we sparked your interest?

We are ready to roll out a new era of volunteer opportunity in the East Fork Fire Protection District. If you feel you have what it takes to meet the challenges of this business, we welcome you to “Join Our Team”.

East Fork Fire Protection District is searching for people to fill Logistical Firefighter and Support Volunteer positions. As an East Fork Volunteer, you are an integral part of our community’s protection.

Our Logistical Firefighter opportunities include performing vital water supply operations by driving and operating water tenders, support major incidents by managing equipment needs, self-contained breathing apparatus bottle change out, and rehab and equally important, becoming a wildland firefighter. Logistical Firefighters will respond to incidents and serve on wildland fire incidents.

Support Volunteer don’t have to respond to emergencies, yet they are responsible for helping to maintain stations and keep apparatus clean and response ready. We need volunteers who can spread the word of all hazard prevention by teaching general fire safety classes and assess properties for defensible space, test and maintain our fire hydrants, and help with fundraising.
