Director of Finance/CFO Julie Andress
Julie Andress is the Director of Finance/CFO for East Fork Fire Protection District. Julie has focused on developing leadership and financial integrity with 18 years of local government experience. She graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Finance. She enjoys being a resource for the
District supporting the needs of our staff and community.
Director of Finance oversees Accounts Payable, Payroll and Medical Billing staff. The Director and
team maintain the District’s financial and accounting records. Responsibilities include the planning, organizing, and management of the budget, financial and accounting activities while ensuring financial compliance for the District. The Director also works with various independence auditors and provides financial analysis for strategic discussions with the Executive Staff.
Medical Billing
Katie Dorsey is a Medical Billing Specialist II for the East Fork Fire Protection District with over 10 years of medical billing experience. She is currently back in college full time, working on obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. Her duties at East Fork include posting payments, processing financial assistance applications, running and updating daily reports, and following up with insurance companies.
Jessica McAdoo is a Medical Billing Specialist I for the East Fork Fire Protection District with nearly 6 years of medical billing experience. She started specializing in Medicaid billing and coding with the State of Nevada and now specializes in Ambulance billing here with East Fork Fire. She is a Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) with the Nation Academy of Ambulance Compliance (NAAC). Her duties include a wide range, from sending insurance claims, claim appeals, medical records requests, and working with patients to arrange payment plans.
Accounting Specialists
Jamie Zess is the Payroll Specialist I for East Fork Fire
Protection District with over 6 years in the accounting field. She moved to
Nevada with her son in the summer of 2021, and joined the Douglas County
community in the summer of 2022. She is responsible for the accurate processing
of payroll as well as assisting our staff with any needs that may arise.
