Meeting Handouts & Highlights

Thanks to everyone who came to our last meeting! Chris Smallcomb's handout from the meeting regarding the potential of flooding this winter can be found under the September 13, 2017 meeting tab.

Two other items that deserve you attention - the first being Fire Shows West: We have funding to send 24 people to the conference! Please let Dave Fogerson at dfogerson@eastforkfire.org know who from your organization is desiring to attend so we can track the number of folks going to not overextend ourselves. If you have someone who wants to attend - please encourage them to do so! Dave will get you directions on how they register for the program.

The other item for your attention is the Statewide Threat Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA). We update this on a regular basis with the state. This year Nevada Division of Emergency Management and Douglas County Emergency Management requests our assistance by completing a Survey Monkey poll on your thoughts and needs. Link to survey

Also under the September 13, 2017 meeting tab is some background info on the THIRA should you be interested.

Thanks! Toni Braga, East Fork Fire Protection District
