Pictures from 3 Strucure Fires in November 2016

East Fork Fire responded to a three structure fire within 24 hours in midNovember. It always seems that a change in weather conditions leads to an increase in structure fires for East Fork. We would like to remind everyone to maintain working smoke detectors with fresh batteries after the time change.

We saw the smoke detector alert a neighbor to the Redwood Circle fire so we could arrive before it grew on November 16th. Earlier on the 16th, the Walker View Road fire's occupant was home to call 911 as the smoke detector malfuntioned. We responded to a report of smoke coming from a structure by the neighbor on Sierra Shadows Lane who heard the alarm from an adjoining unit.
